Test report
What does a test report include:
The test result of a standard test report is divided into the following
areas:
- Age The test result is divided into the age groups 13-18 years,
19-24 years, 25-35 years and 35+
- Gender The test result is divided into men and women
- Listener Profile Here, your test result will be divided into
the listener profiles PS (Public Service), CHR (Contemporary Hit Radio) and AC (Adult
Contemporary)
- Country regions
- Competitive Comparison - Comparison with previously tested tracks
- Sound Testing (ST) The TrackTesters evaluation of the complete
sound.
The TrackTesters give a grade for the complete sound i.e. How well do I like
the complete sound image. This covers all the audio tracks that have been tested
in the test. ST can only be delivered for tests that contain more than one track..
- Repeat Listening Potential (RLP) Measurement of the tracks
hit and listening potential (Repeat Listening Potential (RLP)).
The evaluation of the track starts with a soundbite the Tracktesters give their
grade and then have to decide whether they wish to listen to the full track. If
they answer yes, they have to give another grade after listening to the entire track.
This means that you can see the difference between the two listenings. RLP tells
you the listening potential of the track. RLP can be measured on the basis of whether
a tester, after having listened to a Soundbite, chooses/wants to listen to the full
length version of the track or not. The choice of listening to the full length version
results in a statistic target for RLP. The number is calculated in relation to degree
of acceptance and weight distribution of the two listenings (soundbite/full length
version), and not just as a simple statement of the number of people who have chosen
the full length version.
- Comment/Response Responses from our Tracktesters to any additional
question. Furthermore, our tests always include a section for comments, where our
TrackTester can write any further comments about the tested tracks.
