It was opening day of deer hunting, I was in my morning stand waiting for Mr. Big Buck to come along, it was November and there was a sleeting snow falling pretty hard, this song is pretty much me slippin around in that deer stand. I shot three deer that morning in about 5 minutes, later on I picked up Walts old Gibson and wrote this song. Walt has passed away since then, but his guitar is still making tones.
